Dear Richard. My right-hand man. James and I truly could not have done the work we did without you. You made such a difference. You organised us, kept us in line. You gave above and beyond the call of duty. So many service-users have been in touch with me to say how sad they are to hear of your passing. You knew them all so well, and we all loved you for that. You made them feel that they were part of the family. You were so kind, thoughtful, and funny. I so wish that you could be here with me now, Richard, and that I could tell you in person how very grateful I am to you. The world has lost a good ‘un.
